Steve's experience includes new construction, remodels, upgrades, control work, troubleshooting problems, and service work; and now GB Electric has expanded its capabilities & services by adding a digger derrick truck, 35' bucket truck & 50' bucket truck. With this equipment we can economically work on parking lot, arena & street lights, and dig holes & set power & light poles.

GB Electric was established in 1966 by Glenn Bixler; who owned & operated the full service electrical shop in Nampa until his retirement in 1992. During that time he established life long relationships with customers doing all types of electrical work including industrial, commercial, farm irrigation pumps, home service calls and new construction.

His youngest son Steve rode along with and shadowed his Dad from the time he was "big enough" to go. Steve learned everything he could so he could "help" with projects. Somewhere around 1982 Steve started his apprenticeship working with other local electrical shops, and in February 1989 earned his Journeyman's license. Steve has worked and kept GB Electric active through the years, and has maintained the commitment to "Friendly, Honest Service".
